For anyone new to VB scripting (although not necessarily new to programming) this book provides a clear and practical introduction to the subject coupled with practical examples. At the same time the books layout makes it well suited to someone looking for a VB Script reference book. However, the timing of the book is unfortunate. It is dated, having been released just prior to IE4 with the new functionality added in a rush as an appendix. Regrettably, look for a more up to date alternative.
